The task for the planners was to create a clear, puristic fusion between the architecture of the modern age and the historical old building environment. The cleverly drawn cubic building was enriched by the use of classic louvre shutters that sit above the typical “Faschen”. This trick makes the building both timelessly modern and charmingly homely. The design of the floor plan by the commissioned office LAUX ARCHITEKTEN also took place at the highest level. Thus, two independent apartments and a townhouse were created on up to three different levels in beautifully landscaped grounds.
Perfect architecture, warm, nice amenities. The east-west facing part of the building consists of a townhouse over three floors with a wonderfully tranquil garden to the west. In the south part of the property a spacious garden apartment can be found. The rooftop maisonette extends neatly over the first upper and entire top floor with a total of three large roof terraces to the south and west. In all apartments the importance was attached to maximally meaningful floor plan designs with en-suite bathrooms, private areas that are well decoupled from the living areas and interesting viewing axes. Also the chosen materials and colors in this new building are really special. The overall concept is matched by warm appearances such as oak, natural stone, paired with gentle greige shades. The property is climate-friendly with a state-of-the-art wood pellet central heating system via underfloor heating. Best living in the best place.
